As a co-founder and principal of RUME USA, Nate drives the strategic vision and direction of the company and manages execution of its capital raises, acquisitions, and dispositions. Nate has been the primary partner developing RUME USA’s brand equity and thought leadership with vertical integration, as well as building partnerships through his extensive national network of relationships in capital markets, real estate investment sales and family office community.
A longtime entrepreneur, Nate began his career as an insurance producer before turning to mortgage banking and real estate brokerage 17 years ago. In 2010, he parlayed his lending and brokerage experiences into founding Reichard Holdings, LLC, an investment company focused on the acquisition of single family and Multifamily communities. Subsequently, he founded Becubed Storage, an automated self-storage real estate company. With experiences in related industries including mortgage banking, insurance and real estate brokerage, investing, and construction, he has played a central role in developing RUME USA’s uniquely integrated approach to the market.
Nate recently launched a single family office called Apimaye after successfully helping transition his family’s 100 year old construction business A&R Mechanical Contractors. He is the fourth generation to lead the legacy family business and serves as Chairman. Apimaye’s purpose is to provide and support multi-generational wealth preservation and growth of capital through institutional wealth management strategies in asset allocation, private markets, and other services. Nate also founded Reichard Capital, which is an investment and capital funds management portfolio company of Apimaye. Nate is also a founding principal and Chairman of ALVEARIA, a curated global community of family offices and principal capital allocators designed to provide community in both physical and virtual venues, while providing curated member led direct investments in the private markets.
Nate serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign’s Gies College of Business, having graduated in 2006 with a degree in accountancy and business. He is a member of the Chicago and New York City Chapters of the YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and a board member of the Self-Storage Association of Illinois and board member of the Family Office Association. He maintains certifications for Licensed Real Estate Brokerage in Illinois and Florida and is a Licensed Insurance Broker for Life, Health, Property and Casualty insurance.
