James Oates

Associate analyst James Oates is responsible for the pipelining of RUME’s acquisitions, completing due diligence from broker’s advertisement to project completion. In the process, he builds out a complete model of each deal.

Prior to joining RUME in 2020, James earned experience as an intern with the Banner Real Estate Group as a Development Analyst in 2018 and as Investment Research intern for Johnson Financial Group in 2019.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, James majored in finance, investment and banking. He also carries an Excel Proficiency certificate from the Wisconsin School of Business.
